GST Revenue Collections for October 2025 Released

The GST Network (GSTN) has released the gross and net GST revenue collections for the month of October 2025. The report includes detailed data on domestic GST collections, import-related collections, refunds, net revenue, and state-wise performance.

Gross GST revenue for October 2025 stood at Rs. 1,95,936 crore, marking a growth of 4.6 percent over October 2024. Domestic GST revenue grew by 2 percent, whereas GST collected from imports recorded a strong increase of 12.84 percent.

On a year-to-date basis (April to October), total gross GST revenue increased from Rs. 12.74 lakh crore in 2024-25 to Rs. 13.89 lakh crore in 2025-26, reflecting an overall annual growth of 9 percent.

Refunds issued during October 2025 amounted to Rs. 26,934 crore, showing a growth of 39.6 percent over the previous year. Cumulative refunds for the year reached Rs. 1,81,880 crore, which is a year-on-year growth of 23.9 percent.

After adjusting for refunds, net GST revenue for October 2025 was Rs. 1,69,002 crore, reflecting marginal growth compared to October 2024. However, the year-to-date net revenue grew by 7.1 percent, rising from Rs. 11.27 lakh crore to Rs. 12.07 lakh crore.

State-wise GST revenue performance showed mixed results. States such as Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Ladakh, Lakshadweep, Telangana, and Karnataka recorded strong growth. Declines were observed in Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand, Puducherry, and a few others.

These figures are provisional and may be revised upon finalisation by the authorities.
