Finance Ministry Notifies New GST Amnesty Scheme 2025

On April 1, 2025, the Ministry of Finance rolled out the GST Amnesty Scheme 2025. It allows taxpayers to file pending GSTR-3B returns for the period July 2017 to March 2023 with concessional late fees. The amnesty is available until June 30, 2025, aiming to promote voluntary compliance and ease financial burdens for businesses.
